Recap & Shopping Haul: #Markets16 by Jaya One

The picture says it all. (P.S. Not all of it is mine. Just sayin')

I. never. leave. #Markets16. empty-handed. No matter how hard I try.
Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing. HMM.
Well, if I use the items I purchase then I am going to assume it is a good thing! :D Teehee.

I was at the #Markets16 around 12pm and boy, it was a madhouse. I don't do so well in crowds so it did take me quite a while to adjust my social meter. My bf and housemate, Mel came along as well. Mel was pretty excited as she loves fashion and makeup too. Bargains even more. I thank my lucky stars for blessing me with awesome housemates that don't mind going 'blonde' *gurlfwenn* with me when it comes to makeup and fashion. We keep each other sane when it comes to shopping online and offline. #blessed

Let's start off with Mel's Haul, shall we?

If there lived a dream-catcher goddess, that would be Mel. So anything dream-catcher-ish, it will not slip from her sight. Hence the inspired dream-catcher earrings from Sherlin Holmes (FB) and they are on Instagram too! She loves wearable statements, so that's where the sparkly turquoise blue stones choker and unique gunmetal ear-cuff comes in. Last but not least, her favourite purchase of the lot - a Vintage Kimono Cardigan from Oldees (Instagram). She was more than willing to pose for me with her kimono cardigan. She was gushing over the kimono, admiring its workmanship and quality. That's Mel for you.

Turquoise blue sparkly choker necklace, Inspired Dream-catcher earrings from Sherlin Holmes, and an unique gunmetal ear-cuff.

Mel's favourite purchase of her loot.
Now, it's my turn to talk about my haul!

Introducing my first purchase, a taupe pebbled-pleather Hobo bag with LOTS AND LOTS OF COMPARTMENTS AND SPACE. *hyperventilate*. I have known Glossyaddiction (Instagram) way back since 2010 during my undergraduate days and because of her, my obsession for bags came to life. The bag obsession is quite under-control now because I don't have a choice. Living in PJ ain't cheap. Regardless of how beautiful structured bags are, I always go back to the comfortable slouchy ones which is also known as Hobo bags. Just dump everything in and go. That's how I roll. Yeah.

Next, I pre-ordered a perfume called Nyonya (ha! typical). It's a new perfume by our very own Malaysian perfumer, Josh Lee. A Nyonya is a Peranakan (Straits Chinese) woman of mixed Chinese and Malay/Indonesian heritage. My mom is a Nyonya from Malacca and I guess that's where I have a soft spot for anything Nyonya-related. I am not too crazy about the pink packaging but I love the fact that the perfume doesn't turn my super sensitive skin red or leaves a burning sensation. Because of its quality ingredients and scent, I knew I had to own it. Well, I was actively looking for a perfume and I found one at #Markets16!

Josh Lee describes the scent as a fresh floral fragrance that embodies the graceful femininity of a modern Nyonya. She embraces flowers as part of her culture; with rose and jasmine symbolising her eternal beauty, lotus reflecting her purity, champaca expressing her eternal love while peony and orchid portraying her nobility. Quite 'power', yes? I can't wait to receive it on the October 15! :)

Last on the list, my precious earrings! Of all accessories, I love earrings to bits! The bigger, the better. Small ones tends to get lost with my 'pau' (Chinese steamed bun) face. I hauled these four earrings from Kandi. The earrings I purchased ranged from RM19 - RM7. Isn't it awesome? Mel showed me this booth and lo and behold, I had 4 pairs in my basket. They were too pretty not to be modeled. What do you think? :D Oh, the selfies were taken with my One Plus One phone and B612 app. Love how the app magically gives my skin that glow-y and flawless finish. Good makeup + B612 app, you can't go wrong.

Of all bazaars, I personally think #Markets16 by Jaya One is one of the best as I really did enjoy myself. The exposure to new brands and buried bargains here and there, it was a pleasant experience. But I really do hope there will be more bargains in the future Markets by Jaya One. With the ever-increasing cost of living (GST and plummeting ringgit), it would be more fun to be able to score products at awesome prices. Especially new ones!

You can't deny the fact that quite a handful of Malaysian prefer to stick to known brands. Then again, being in the internet era, all kinds of information is obtainable and self-education on current issues is expected. I personally think that the younger generation or young families are more willing to try new products that are environment-friendly or contain less chemicals. I am all in supporting local brands that carries unique and quality products. #supportlokal

Before I sign off, I would like to share about these brands that have participated in this #Markets16.

Sharing: Markets by Jaya One, 16th Installment!! #markets16

FINALLEH!!

A Markets on weekend where I am free from work! Eh, not really. Still have to work for an hour and a half on Saturday... but no biggie! Currently in the education line, hence my availability is subjected to the school holidays. So I am really, really excited about being able to swing by Markets this weekend!

So book this weekend and bring your friends and family along! Yes, yes - drag the poor boyfriend too. I know I will! But I don't think he would mind because he has his Yo-yo clan meet up every Saturday at The School. Grown men, but will forever be boys at heart. A living proof that there's always something for everyone at Jaya One! Girly stuff for me and toys for le bf. Wait, not forgetting palate-worthy FOOD and therapeutic COFFEE for the both of us.

In all honesty, I have lost count of how many Jaya One's Markets I have been to and it's a good thing because that's a sign that it is GROWING!

As always, Markets found ways to spice up every event with a big help from various of collaborators consisting of engaging brands or companies. At this 16th installment, it's no different. Shopee Malaysia is on board as their main sponsor. So tons of goodies awaits you and your loved ones! Now, you may be thinking - Who or What is Shopee Malaysia?

On unfamiliar waters you have sailed on, but now its time to dock.

Shopee Malaysia is a fairly new app which can be found on Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Growing as fast as time passes us by, it's an upcoming shopping mobile app that allows you to buy and sell anywhere and anytime. Ah, before you raise that skeptical Malaysian eyebrow at me, be ecstatic to know that the app is FREE. Yes, I will repeat myself. It's FREE. Your favourite word, yes? HEHE.

Yes, the app is free of charge. There's no transaction fee and it's a great way to clear your preloved items so that you can buy more! Just kidding. On a serious note, this app is a great for budding entrepreneurs to kick-start your own business without tons of risk. Go forth, my young Padawans! Spread your wings! FLYYYY. ok, too much sugar.

***
A normal scene at every Markets. Love the happy bustling and chattering! (when I'm in the mood).
TIP(S)!
  1. Being an avid online and offline shopper, I would always take this opportunity to 'save' on postage fees and collect my purchases from the vendors. But please do check with your respective vendors to make arrangements if needed. I do love meeting the brain or brains behind the awesome stuff and service! :)
  2. Wear comfortable shoes/slippers. It's really no fun dragging your feet around because there's so much to see and do!
  3. Allocate sufficient cash. If you don't trust yourself, entrust some of the cash to your sane shopping buddy. Everyone has a sane shopping buddy. If not, time to discover one!
  4. Bring a clothing measuring tape. You will thank me later.
  5. Allocate your phone battery life wisely. If not, how to selfie or instagram every d**n thing? But seriously, its for your own safety and for your friend or bf to keep track of you. Yes, I am speaking from experience. HEHE.
  6. Stay hydrated. DRINK WATER. Coffee, ice-cream, and sodas are NOT water. Yes, you.
  7. Make a list. Mentally or scribbled on a piece of paper, list down the vendors you really want to visit especially if you have a friend or bf with an embedded 2 hour timer.
  8. Lastly, make a shopping list. Go stalk the vendors below so that you won't be disappointed.

Because of I love you darling readers, I have painstakingly listed down the vendors that will be at this coming #markets16. Don't say I don't love you okeh.

Random Ramblings : First Semester of MESL

Where have I been?

I was blessed with the opportunity to continue my studies in Masters of English as a Second Language in February. It's not teaching English as a Second Language but learning in depth about English as a Second Language. It's a total different ball game altogether. There are quite a handful of people gets teaching English and learning English mixed up.

There's a vast difference between Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) and Masters of English as a Second Language (MESL). TESL mainly focuses on methodology on teaching English and mind you, you don't study or learn English but you learn how to TEACH English to second-language learners. Whereas for MESL, it focuses mainly on language acquisition and here the targeted language is English. Hence, focusing on HOW second-language learners LEARN or ACQUIRE the targeted language, English. Hope this clears the confusion.

Anyhow, I have finally completed my first semester of my Masters program and it was an... interesting ride. Interesting because it felt like travelling a known terrain which becomes the unknown. Familiar parts of the terrain that gave me this false sense of control, but the truth is, I have little or no control at all. It felt as if my four years as an undergraduate student seems nonexistent. I had unlearned and relearned so much that my brains (or whatever is left) felt like exploding out of this thick skull of mine.

Trying to grasp totally new concepts of language acquisitions, exploring works of renowned researchers, and reading papers after papers  has sent me questioning myself why I am here in the first place. According to my course mate who was is linguistic graduate, I quote her, "It is as if the 3 1/2 years of what I have learned as an undergraduate has been compacted into the three weeks of the semester". Imagine that, I am a TESL graduate and linguistics is fairly new to me. I truly felt like I was drowning.

I thought I knew what I was doing and I thought everything would turn out just fine. But halfway and at the end of the semester, I questioned myself countless of times. Why am I doing this? Is it for the money? Is it for the passion? Is it for the greater good? What's the greater good? How am I going to apply all of these knowledge in my future job? Tons of unanswered questions on replay in my head and as expected, self-doubt comes creeping in to every corner of both my conscious and subconscious mind. Cloaking every light, dampening every spark. It was and still is a struggle. Being depressed was nothing new and every now and then, anxiety attacks kicks in.

Well, that's all for now. Stay tuned for more nonsense from me!

Review : Make Up Forever STEP 1 Skin Equalizer in Hydrating Primer - It has finally reached Malaysia's shores!

Gone were the days where primers are products that simply smoothen out those pesky pores and holes on our faces by filling them up. It's undeniable that when there's technology and science involved, there will be and always be something new, something revolutionary, something extraordinary. Make Up Forever has done just that.

Being a curious cat as usual, I literally stalked/swatched/compared Make Up Forever's products in one of the local Sephora outlets. I love studying the different textures, functions, and finishes various products and brands has to offer. Most of the time, I would silently scoff at highly-raved products from certain brands because there are other products offers the exact same or similar function with just a fraction of the price. But there will always be products that are just simply... irreplaceable.

Make Up Forever has made sure their products are up a notch or two compared to other brands. Just do a random google of any best makeup products, there you will see one or two Make Up Forever product in one of some beauty guru or youtuber's must-have list of products. #fact

Review : MUFE STEP 1 Skin Equalizer in Hydrating Primer

Alright, let's get down to business. I have been using the primer for almost two months - hence the delay in reviewing this product. I believe in really testing and experimenting with the product to be able to provide a solid review. Before I start, this product was given to me as gift with reviewing purposes by Make Up Forever Malaysia. I'm not paid nor sponsored. The review is based solely on my experience and not influenced by any parties.

Now, those of you who knows me pretty well - I have an extremely oily skin with loads of imperfections. Primers are a must for me because anything and everything will slide off my face, with the contribution of the Malaysian humid weather. Since I have oily skin, why did I choose the Hydrating Primer instead of the Mattifying Primer?

It's simple. Quite a lot of my face products has mattifying properties and I was thinking about my hours spent in air-conditioned classrooms. I once paired a mattifying primer along with a mattifying bb cream and finishing powder and after a long day walking around in the shopping mall - BOOM. MY SKIN LOOKED LIKE A PALE PRUNE. I kid you not. It looked dry and really horrible. Since then, I realized that even my makeup products has to be used in moderation.

Plus I also noticed that my skin is oily on the outside but dry on the inside. This condition is commonly known as dehydrated skin. Dehydrated, combination skin - not a great combo. There's only so much makeup can conceal. Hence, I decided to switch up my products here and there to achieve a happy balance.

I used the Hydrating Primer with a few products and found that it works very well with powder foundations. Here's quick review of products used with MUFE STEP 1 Skin Equalizer in Hydrating Primer :

  • ZA Perfect Fit Two-Way Foundation in OC10 :
The powder went on smoothly. Only extremely big pores can still be seen but it's fine with me because the main functions of this primer is hydrating and providing a smooth canvas which it did on both accounts. Wear time lasted about 5 - 6 hours in a humid environment/moving about whereas if it was in an air-conditioning room, it lasted from 9am - 6.30pm.

I checked on and off throughout the 10 hours period, my powder foundation melted quite well and it began to look like my second skin. By the 8th or 9th hour, I can feel my cheeks and T-Zone feeling a little greasy but the glowy kind of oily. Not the frying pan oily-kind.

  • KATE Liquid Touch Powder Foundation in OC-B :
The results were quite amazing. The powder went on smoothly and my pores were nowhere to be seen! The Kate powder might have helped a little in covering up the excess pores. I wore this combo throughout the Chinese New Year celebration back in Malacca. It was the best time to really put the primer to the test because of the hot, melting weather.

My younger cousins (there's not much privacy when 4 families live under one roof. LOL!) watched as I put on my makeup and they were like "Wah!", "Omg. How did you do that?", "Your skin looks so smooth now!". Hahaha! Kids :) I must admit that I was quite impressed with how the primer performed. Okay, here's the honest part - this Hydrating Primer did not fare well with the heat and humidity. I had to use Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray to help my makeup last till late night.

  • Laneige Pore Control BB Cushion in shade 21 :
This BB cushion had mattifying properties and it worked quite harmoniously with it. I set the combo with Wet n Wild Cover All pressed powder and dusted Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay pressed finishing powder. I applied at 12pm and had it on till 11pm. My makeup lasted the whole day! Not forgetting, my skin looked glowing and pretty flawless, I must say. #perasaan

  • MUFE Mat Velvet+ Mattifying Foundation in shade 30 :
I tried this combo last because I had a breakout when I used the foundation. It seemed to clog my pores. I am not sure whether it is just me or there are ingredients in the foundation that doesn't go well my skin.

Anyway, I closed one eye and applied. Being paranoid, I checked my makeup on and off and found that there were slight bumps on my left cheek and red bumps on my right eventhough my bf said there wasn't any. HMM. I must be going mad. Okay back to the combo, I observed that my skin looked all-glowy and smooth throughout the day as if I did not put on any foundation at all. My bf even commented that it looked good. HEHE.

I applied it at 7.30am and removed it at around 9pm. When I removed it, I noticed that there were new formations of pimples on my right cheek. I'm not sure whether it was coincidence or my skin is disagreeing with the foundation. Sigh :( I have to test and do some research on it again before I can confirm anything.

Left to Right : Bare face with moisturiser and freshly applied primer, 10 minutes after primer applied, and full make-up
I honestly do not know how to have that same perfect selfie everytime. I find it quite time consuming (><)'''

Hope this doesn't scare ya.

Conclusion

Based on my experience and experiments, I would recommend MUFE STEP 1 Skin Equalizer in Hydrating Primer to :
  • Ladies who sits in an air-conditioning room for super long hours
  • Ladies who finds their skin dehydrated
  • Ladies who wants a gentle primer for sensitive skin
  • Ladies who love that glowy look

I won't recommend it to :
  • Matte skin lovers
  • Ladies with extremely oily skin
  • Ladies who moves about a lot
  • Ladies who wants extreme pore coverage
  • Ladies who dislikes glowy finishes

Please know that our skin types are different and what I have experienced may not be the same as you. So do drop by at MUFE counters to get the trained makeup sales assistants to help you choose the right primer for you. You can go bare faced to Sephora and try out a full makeup using the primer as your base to help you decide whether its for you or not. There's no harm in trying out ;)

Oops, silly me. I left out the most important information. It's priced at RM160 for 30ml tube. It's available at all MUFE counters in Sephora Malaysia.

Review : The Brush Guard

Are you tired of seeing the bristles of your brush crinkle, shed, or get caught by the zip of your makeup pouch ruining the soft, gentle bristles? Seeing the bristles getting caught by the zip is even worse when the brush costs an arm and a leg. Regardless of the value of the brush, all brushes should be kept protected and well-maintained to prolong the life of the brushes.

How to protect and maintain your baby brushes? I had been personally using The Brush Guard for about four years now when it was introduced by the Youtube makeup guru star, Michelle Phan. Being an excited, budding makeup fiend, I purchased mine from a forum in Lowyat (which is no longer active). That was four years ago.

With all that chatter, let's not forget to introduce "The Brush Guard",

Who is 'The Brush Guard'?

THEIR PRODUCTS

The Brush Guard is a stretchable, breathable polyester tube that protects your make-up bristles, and brings them back to new!
We know that brushes can be a pricey investment, we don't believe in throwing them away because they are over used and splayed.
With one use of The Brush Guard, your brushes will look as good as new!
We have brush guards for all shapes and sizes from eye liner brushes to kabuki brushes.
Did you know that in each make-up brush lives oil, old make-up, skin cells, bacteria, dust & dirt? Ew! We call these the ICKIES!
Not cleaning your make-up brushes can cause breakouts, clogged pores and blackheads.
A simple clean from our Brush Guard Cleaning Kit will solve all those problems!
Since 2005, The Brush Guard has created innovative methods in brush care and maintenance which are available in their popular patented line of product including: The Brush Guard, The Brush Defender, The Brush Guard Cleaning Kit, and the Squeaky Clean Brush Shampoo.

THEIR STORY

The Brush Guard began with a problem - how to wash and dry makeup brushes while keeping their shape perfect and their bristles intact.
Founder Diane Baker struggled with this problem until, during a dinner party with a long-time friend and mechanical engineer, Malcolm Plant, (after several glasses of wine!) they figured out for the first time ever how to safely cover and shape brushes, and so The Brush Guard was born!

THEIR PHILOSOPHY

We believe that our products revolutionize brush care.
We also believe in keeping our tools at their best.
We are devoted to brush care and hygiene.
We believe that brush hygiene is the missing link in our skin care routine.
Nobody should put clean makeup on clean skin with a dirty brush.
Everybody should get the most from their brushes!

Information taken from The Brush Guard

When I first received it, I wondered what was so special about this plastic-like netting that strongly reminded me of the nettings found wrapped on small fruits in the supermarket. I also questioned my judgement on purchasing something that seemed replaceable with something else. Fast forward, I continued using them and haven't given much thought about them till today. So, when Mesmerize Online approached me to review The Brush Guard, it struck me that I had the Brush Guard for four years already! I quickly rummaged through my cupboard and gathered my scattered Brush Guard. I was impressed that its still usable till this very day, except it looks slightly discoloured and worn but it's still good.

The Variety Pack
The Brush Guard's Variety Pack consists of 6 brush guards of different sizes:

  • 1 Shadow 1/4" extra small
  • 2 Blush 3/8" small
  • 2 Foundation 5/8" medium
  • 1 Powder/Kabuki 1" large

My very first 'The Brush Guard' was the The Variety Pack. If you are not exactly sure which pack to get or would prefer a range of variety (pun intended), I'd suggest to get 'The Variety Pack'. You won't be disappointed because it usually covers the basic brushes in your collection, may it be small or big.

How to Use:

  1. Slip The Brush Guard over your brush’s handle until it extends ¼” to ½” beyond the bristles.
  2. Select the size that fits snugly over your brush’s ferrule (the metal part) and it will not slide back towards the brush handle nor crush the bristles.
  3. Never slide from bristle towards handle!

Below are some comparison pictures of my old Brush Guards and new Brush Guards.

See the difference after 4 years?

If you are still not convinced, below are some pictures and video taken by me with my collection of brushes.
Medium-sized Brush Guard with Sigma Flat Kabuki F80 and Sigma Round Kabuki F82
Small-sized Brush Guards with Sigma Large Angled Contour F40 and (new version) Ecotools Blush Brush

Now, if you have a beautiful collection of dedicated eye brushes like my Sigma Eye Performance Kit. I would suggest this little gem (the kit isn't cheap alright). These would protect and prolong your well-invested babies. The best part is, you can bring your babies around when you travel. Hint, hint: Chinese New Year is just around the corner! :D

A close-up picture of the Shadow/Liner Pack. Sorry for the poor quality photo :/

Conclusion

The thing I like about The Brush Guard is their honesty and non-outrageous marketing claims. Such as, they did note : With use, The Brush Guard may fray. Moderate fraying will not impair The Brush Guard’s effectiveness. Admitting that the product has a lifespan is like admitting we are human beings. It doesn't claim to keep your brushes forever young, and all that crap. I'm serious. It can be quite tiring and disappointing to part with our hard-earned money falling for a marketing gimmick. It's not to say that I am against marketing gimmicks/claims but I believe there's a beautiful balance between truth and pure exaggeration. Think about the long run.

Anyway, the bottomline is that I love The Brush Guard as it has served me well for the past 4 years. It keeps my brushes' bristles in an orderly fashion and it does help prolongs the lifespan of my brushes but of course, with the proper care from cleaning to storage. Think about it. If you have spent about RM50++ on a brush (especially Sigma/MAC/MUFE brushes), I'm pretty sure you would like to show some extra love to make sure it lasts you for years to come. Well, I hope all of you find this review helpful in deciding which pack would be suitable for your makeup brushes.

Where to purchase The Brush Guard?

You can purchase it from Mesmerize Online at RM30 per pack (here). They have:
  • Variety Pack
  • Shadow/Liner Pack
  • Powder/Kabuki Pack
It's free shipping for purchases above RM150. So gather your friends and family to share the joy and prep your makeup brushes for this coming Chinese New Year! Travel with a peace of mind. #onlymakeuploversunderstand.

Annoucement : Golden Rose has reached our shores! Part 3

Now, let's continue with Part 3. Part 3 of the Golden Rose has reached our shores posts is mainly about face and nails products. The posts are based mainly on my first impressions of the products and I will share which products I think is promising. Thank you so much in advance for following this lengthy post and I sincerely hope you do enjoy reading them. Let's carry on, shall we?

Foundations and Powders

As you can see, there are 5 out of 7 foundations which was introduced to me. Golden Rose has these on their website:

  • Golden Rose Perfect Finish Liquid Foundation
  • Golden Rose Moisturizing Cream Foundation
  • Golden Rose Satin Smoothing Liquid Foundation
  • Golden Rose Stick Foundation
  • Golden Rose Compact Foundation
  • Golden Rose Mousse Foundation
  • Golden Rose Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation

Please note that the notes below is a recollection of my memory and experience with the products. I will edit it whenever needed. In the picture above, from left to right:
  • Golden Rose Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation in 03 -
    Consistency : Light, runny
    Finish : Light, powdery finish
  • Golden Rose Perfect Finish Liquid Foundation in 51
Consistency : Thick, creamy but not heavy
    Finish : Smooth
  • Golden Rose Stick Foundation in 05
Consistency : Thick, dry yet creamy
Finish : Full coverage, feels heavy
  • Golden Rose Satin Smoothing Liquid Foundation in 22
Consistency : Almost similar with GR Perfect Finish but lighter
Finish : Light medium coverage, feels lightweight
  • Golden Rose Moisturizing Cream Foundation in 03
    Consistency : Lightweight, watery
Finish : Light coverage, feels like a tinted foundation

Now on to the powders! Oh mai. There are 6 types of powder products I was given to play with swatch my heart's content. Again, here's the list of powders Golden Rose provides:
  • Golden Rose True Matte Pressed Powder
  • Golden Rose Paris Compact Powder
  • Golden Rose Mineral Terracotta Powder
  • Golden Rose Silky Touch Compact Powder
  • Golden Rose Pressed Powder
  • Golden Rose Compact Foundation (termasuk in this category. LOL)

On the left side, the three powders are:
  • Golden Rose Mineral Terracotta Powder in 01 :
I'm in love with this powder. It's so smooth and the finish is just amazing. It strongly reminds me of MAC Mineralize Skinfinish and this is definitely on my must-have list.
  • Golden Rose True Matte Pressed Powder in 05 :
All I can say is, if you are a fan of mattifying products you might want to look out of this powder. Oily skinned girls, rejoice!
  • Golden Rose Pressed Powder in 106 Beige :
I can't remember much about this powder.
On the right side, the three powders are:
  • Golden Rose Paris Compact Powder in 61:
This powder is just down right pretty, the kind which will make you reluctant to use it because you are afraid you might ruin the imprint of an Eiffel Tower in the middle of the powder. Very finely milled and this seems promising.
  • Golden Rose Silky Touch Compact Powder in 06:
Also finely milled. Doesn't feel as dry as the True Matte Pressed Powder. Dry skinned ladies should give this a try.
  • Golden Rose Compact Foundation in 09:
Now, I know you might be thinking - "Who has skin as white as that?!". I thought the same too. It was quite an eye-opener when I swatched it. I am guessing you can use this as a part of your contouring. Maybe.

Blushers and Bronzers

I bet you blush and bronzer fiends were waiting for this part, eh? Well, wait no more! Golden Rose has 5 blushers in their collection:
  • Golden Rose Terracotta Stardust
  • Golden Rose Terracotta Blush-On
  • Golden Rose Ball Blusher
  • Golden Rose Silky Touch Blush-On
  • Golden Rose Powder Blush

Here are the blushers:
  • Golden Rose Powder Blush in 01 Pastel Pink
  • Golden Rose Silky Touch Blush-On in 210
  • Golden Rose Terracotta Blush-On in 02
  • Golden Rose Ball Blusher in 03

There are only 2 bronzing product from Golden Rose:
  • Golden Rose Terra Powder (SPF15) in 103
  • Golden Rose Mineral Bronze Powder in 01

If I were to chose which blushers and bronzers, I'd go for GR Powder Blush, GR Silky Touch Blush-On, GR Ball Blusher, and last but not least, GR Mineral Bronze Powder because I am not a fan of shimmer. I am quite fussy when it comes to shimmer.

Nail Polishes

IT'S SO PRETTY RIGHT??

For me, I am not exactly a nail polish fan. I can't design my nails to save my life. I can only paint one colour at a time. If anyone were to ask me to review nail polishes, I will always recommend these two ladies in my life who does nail art in their sleep. They are : Laura and Sydney. These two does magic with their nails. No kidding.

Golden Rose's nail polish collection and it's glory!
Here's a summed up picture and a sad swatch on the far bottom right.
Golden Rose's French Manicure
Okay, please excuse my sad-looking swatches of the nail polishes. Anyway, I must bring your attention to this particular nail product from Golden Rose, le French Manicure. To be honest, I have attempted French Manicure about 3 times in my lifetime and failed miserably. This time, even though it was 'cincai' (simply) done but it does resemble a French Manicure! A pathetic-looking one but hey, I was quite happy about it. This French Manicure set is on my must-have list from Golden Rose.

Well that's all from Golden Rose for now. I was sent a frew products from Golden Rose Malaysia to review, and that's in the works. Anyway, here's the list of my wishlist/must-have products from Golden Rose:
  • Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick
  • Golden Rose Liquid Concealer
  • Golden Rose Luxury Lip Color Lipgloss
  • Golden Rose Ultra Volume x4 Mascara
  • Golden Rose Eyebrow Powder
  • Golden Rose Style Liner Metallic Eyeliner
  • Golden Rose Black & Black Eyeliner
  • Golden Rose Dipliner Liquid Eyeliner
  • Golden Rose Wet & Dry Eyeshadow
  • Golden Rose Silky Touch Matte Eyeshadow
  • Golden Rose Perfect Finish Liquid Foundation
  • Golden Rose Mineral Terracotta Powder
  • Golden Rose Ball Blusher
  • Golden Rose Silky Touch Blush-On
  • Golden Rose Powder Blush
  • Golden Rose Mineral Bronze Powder
  • Golden Rose French Manicure

I really can't wait for Golden Rose Malaysia to open their physical store soon! Are you as excited as I am?? Stay tuned for my review! <3
